GICLÉE PRINTS

What is a Giclée print?

A Giclée (pronounced Zhee-Clay) is a French word coined in the 17th Century which translates close to "fine spray" in English. The term is currently used regarding the latest form of high quality methodology to produce original archival art prints on both fine paper or canvas.

Because the process is the same for all sizes of Giclée prints, the cost is not determined by size. Each of the prints is priced at $950, shipping included. All of the prints are examined by Preston and signed by hand. Framing is not included.

Dimensions of reproductions can range from 8" x 10" up to 60" x any size. Because the ratio of horizontal to vertical dimensions can vary from painting to painting, the possible print sizes are determined by the dimensions of the original painting (contact Preston for final adjustments).

Giclée prints can be found in the following notable collections--

The Louvre Museum in Paris
The Smithsonian
The British Museum
The Washington Post collection
The New York Public Library
The Philadelphia Museum of Art
The New York Metropolitan Museum
The National Art Museum
The San Francisco Museum of Art
The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art
